A Northern Territory police officer has been committed to stand trial for murder voer the shooting death of a teenager in a remote community last year. Constable Zachary Rolfe was charged with murder after the teen was shot dead during an arrest attempt. The matter will return to court on the 25th of November when a trial date will be determined.
Australia's foreign minister says she'll wait for a report about the treatment of female passengers at Doha's airport before taking further action. Thirteen Australians were among the women subjected to an internal examination after a newborn baby was found in one of the airport's bathrooms earlier this month.
