In a meeting with the president of Guatemala, Harris said residents are forced by poor living conditions to leave their homeland.
Jeff Bezos will blast into space next month on the first flight of his Blue Origin rocket to carry a crew. He'll bring his younger brother along for the ride. The Bezos brothers will launch July 20th alongside the winner of an online charity auction. There is no word yet on who else might fill the six-person capsule.
The parents of an 8-year-old girl who was shot and killed near the site where Rayshard Brooks was shot several weeks earlier have filed a lawsuit against the city of Atlanta. The lawsuit says city leaders were negligent when they failed to remove armed vigilantes from the site of Brooks' shooting.
New York will lift more COVID-19 rules once 70% of adults have at least one vaccine shot. The announcement comes on the same day that Bruce Springsteen said he would return to performing on Broadway on June 26th.
