The Chinese ambassador to the United States has met with U.S.-China Business Council President Craig Allen via video link.
Qin Gang said Sino-U.S. economic and trade cooperation is based on mutual benefit and China will open its door even wider to the outside world.
He also called on the business communities from China and the U.S. to strengthen exchange and cooperation for positive development of bilateral ties.
An online survey shows that 80 percent of respondents believe the U.S. government has failed in its obligations in the fight against COVID-19.
The CGTN Think Tank poll was conducted in English, Spanish, French, Arabic and Russian on major social networking platforms such as YouTube, Twitter, Facebook and VK.
Around 53,000 people took part in the survey, which started on August 10 and lasted for 48 hours.
