China is negotiating with 17 countries about extending the high-speed railway network to their territory. Most of them are rich in mineral and energy resources. These rails will be built by China's railway standard. The maximum speed can reach 350 kilometers per hour. China has provide them with the technology, equipment and high-spreed trains, and even cover the construction cost for the countries that are willing to give China natural resources. At present. China and Russia have already agreed on building a high-speed line across Siberia.
