Without the long-term efforts he had made, he would not have invented the electric bulb, providing the whole world with unprecedented brightness and warmth.

　　In a word, painstaking effort is the key to success. Therefore, we ought to make sustaining efforts as long as we are eager to achieve success in the long run.
