第二十一课
Eat a Donut and Turn Right
吃一个甜甜圈然后向右走。
Brian is on his way to meet Danny.
布莱恩正走在与丹尼见面的路上。
They are going to see a movie downtown.
他们将要去市中心看一场电影。
Danny wrote out the directions for Brian on a piece of paper because Brian doesn't know the way to the movie theatre.
丹尼为布莱恩在一张纸上写下了路线，因为布莱恩不知道去电影院的路。
"Let's see," Brian says as he reads the paper.
“让我看看，”布莱恩边看着纸边说。
First,walk down the street and eat a donut at the coffee shop.
首先，沿着街道向下走然后在咖啡店吃一个甜甜圈。
Have you eaten the donut?
你吃了甜甜圈了吗？
OK!
好的！
Now, cross the street.
现在，过马路。
Turn right.
向右转。
Stop at the grocery store and buy some milk.
在杂货店停下来买一点牛奶。
Did you drink the milk?
你喝了牛奶吗？
Good.
好的。
Now, turn left.
现在，向左转。
Walk through the park.
穿过公园。
You will see many trees.
你会看见许多的树。
Turn left after the cherry tree.
在樱桃树后面向左转。
The movie theatre will be straight ahead.
直着走就是电影院。
P.S. Always walk on the sidewalk.P.S.
要一直都在人行道上走。
It is safe there.
那里安全。
"Oh no! How will I find the movie theatre?" says Brian.
“哦，不！我该怎么找到电影院？”布莱恩说。
Brian starts walking.
布莱恩开始走了。
He stops at the coffee shop and gets a donut.
他在咖啡店前面停了下来吃了一个甜甜圈。
Then he crosses the street.
然后他过了马路。
He walks past the grocery store and finds a park.
他走过了杂货店并找到了一个公园。
There are lots of trees in the park.
在公园里面有许多的树。
"This must be it," Brian says to himself.
“一定就是这儿了，”布莱恩对自己说。
But it's the wrong park.
但是这是一个错的公园。
It doesn't have a cherry tree.
这里没有樱桃树。
"Oh no! This is not funny, Danny!"
“哦，不！这不好玩，丹尼！
I'm lost!
我迷路了”
Then Brian sees a lady.
然后布莱恩看见了一位女士。
She is walking down the street.
她正沿着街道向下走。
"Excuse me," he says.
“打扰一下，”他说。
"Can you tell me the way to the movie theatre?"
“你能告诉我去电影院的路吗？”
"Yes," says the lady.
“是的，”这位日女士说。
"Go down this street.
“沿着街道向下走。
Turn right at the second crossing.
在第二个路口向右转。
From there, you can see the movie theatre.
"在那里，你可以看见电影院。”
"Thank you very much," says Brian.
“非常感谢，”布莱恩说。
"You're welcome!"
“不客气！”
Five minutes later Brian arrives at the entrance of the theatre.
五分钟之后，布莱恩到达了电影院的入口。
Here you are!
你在这儿呢！
I knew you wouldn't get lost!
我就知道你不会迷路！
