[-1:-9.00]I will not use plastic bags.
[-1:10.00]I will recycle batteries.
[-1:11.00]I will tell my friends to protect the environment.
[-1:12.00]Think of things you could do.Write a list.
[-1:13.00]Without air,water and sunlight there would be no living things.
[-1:14.00]Because they are so important,
[-1:15.00]ecosystems try to be very careful with these valuable resources.
[-1:16.00]Human beings often throw away things they have used only once.
[-1:17.00]In good ecosystems,resources are used many times.
[-1:18.00]The waste of plants and animals will become food for another.
[-1:19.00]In fact,nature is much better at recycling than we humans are.
[-1:20.00]Maybe we should learn from nature and become better recyclers
[-1:21.00]-if we throw away too much,
[-1:22.00]we may be throwing away our future.
[-1:23.00]We all care about nature and the environment,
[-1:24.00]but we may not always do everything we could or should.
[-1:25.00]Scientists who know a lot about the environment
[-1:26.00]say that we should"Reduce,Reuse,Recycle and Respond".
[-1:27.00]Let's see what that means.
