1. Will today's technology/electric apparatus still be in use(popular) in 50 years?
不管人们有没有意识到，科学技术已经深深地影响了我们的日常生活，在经济社会发展中扮演着不可或缺的角色。21世纪以来，科学技术，尤其是计算机网络技术、电子信息技术的飞速发展，使得手机、电脑这些曾经昂贵的奢饰品步入寻常百姓家，成为我们生活的必需品。那么这些科技产品如手机、电视等50年之后会不会随着技术的发展而消失或者被其他更高级的产品所取代呢？谈论科技，必然会涉及科技将来的发展，也必然涉及目前的产品会不会淘汰的问题。这道题目可以用“Yes”或“No”回答，也可以用“Uncertain”回答，只要自圆其说即可。

Candidate 1: I don't think this question could have a certain answer. Just as the saying goes, "Every coin has its two sides". We should take many aspects into consideration to answer the question.

On the hand, in my opinion, there must be some technologies which are in use today will disappear or be out of date in 50 years, since the development speed of science and technology is so fast that new products will be created almost everyday. As time goes on, something inconvenient, uncomfortable and wasteful may not be used in the future.

On the other hand, some inventions which have influenced the process of history or our life for hundreds of years will still be used in a long time like some electric devices. I couldn't image that one day we won't use them. No matter what it generates from, water, fire, sunshine or even nuclear, it is used in every aspect of our life. For this reason, I think there should be some technologies still in use even in 15 years.

Candidate 2: It's difficult to answer. I should say "Maybe not".

With the development of modern society, more and more electrical apparatus have been invented and used in various fields. There's no doubt that they have brought in convenience, comfort, which contributes to the improvement of the world. However, nowadays when we use the new technoloty, we may cause serious pollution to the earth. In the past, although the electrical apparatus were not widely used, human beings lived in a clean and pure environment. At present, people start to be more concerned with the environment around us. And in 50 years, people will make full use of some clean energies like solar or wind energy to produce more environmental-friendly apparatus taking the place of the present ones.

Candidate 1没有用“Yes”或“No”回答，而是引用谚语导入分析凡事都有两面性。一方面，随着技术的发展，新的技术产品必然会取代旧的、过时的产品。另一方面，一些技术产品已经在我们的日常生活中发挥重要作用而不会被淘汰；Candidate 2开门见山，maybe一句画龙点睛，随着技术的发展，我们会利用越来越多的新洁净能源，从而取代过时的、对环境有污染的能源。
