As science and technology grows,the houses Chinese people live in have changed quite a lot. More than twenty years ago,most Chinese people lived in single-story houses with small yards. Nowadays, they live in well-equipped apartments in tall buildings with air-conditioning and central heating. A few rich people have villas in the suburb. They choose to live in two-story houses with enough rooms to share with their families. People live in the countryside have more living space,and they usually have large yards and gardens. But we can see there are also some people who still live in shabby one-story house since, you know,they can't afford to buy the flat big enough to house the whole family； however this is not the main stream,and the government is making every effort to improve people's housing conditions. In my opinion, the government should offer sufficient funds to build more economical house.

A couple with one child usually like to live in a large apartment with three rooms, two of which can be used as bedrooms,and another one can be used as a study. What's more,in such an apartment, there should be a separate bathroom,a kitchen and a parlor. Besides,people would like to choose a living place near both their own working unit and a good school in order that their children can enjoy high-quality education. I think it's good and comfortable to live in large apartments. However,if we live in this kind of house, we'11 spend more money and energy on it,since we'11 pay more for the purchase and maintenance ,and it'll also take us more time to do the cleaning.
