My favorite singer is Elvis Presley, one of the most popular singers of the 20th century. Presley is famous as a pioneer of rock music and he is considered by people around the world to be the greatest singer in rock music. Presley combined sounds of country music with black rhythm-and-blues to form the new rock-and-roll style. His electrically charged performances earned him the position of the first mass idol in the American music history. Ever since then, he has influenced numerous musical artists. He was very innovative： in the musical invention . He once said, "some people tap their feet,some people snap their fingers,and some people sway back and forth. I just sort of do them all together " It is in this way that he created his own style of performance. I like Elvis Presley,because I appreciate his powerful imagination ability in music, which added to the diversities of music. Of course, I am deeply impressed by his skillful technique in performing the music. Although he is not alive now,I am sure he,as well as his music,will remain in our hearts as long as time can go.
