雅思口语Part 2里,总是要准备一个house素材的,之前考过Describe a house or an apartment you want to live in 或者Describe an ideal house,所以当大家看到interesting house you have visited的时候,应该不会感到陌生吧!我们搬出来一幢土豪的房子,绝对足够interesting啊!你所有幻想着拥有的东西都往这里搬,所有的装备都为我们扣题而服务的:
I'd like to talk about my friend's home I visited several months ago, which really blew my mind.
His family is loaded, I mean, his parents have a drug company and make millions of dollars every year. They bought a house along the riverside that has the highest housing price because of the view.
Several months ago, he invited a bunch of friends over to his home on his birthday. He threw a huge party and hired band and magicians, just like the ones we saw in movies.
The minute I stepped into his home, I was just amazed. It's not just a normal 4-floor house with front and back yard, he has his own outdoor swimming pool, which to be honest, I think is not that necessary and practical, 'cause in a place like my hometown, half of a year is winter, it's impossible to swim outside. But for this family, money is no object, I mean, they could do whatever they like with the house.
For example, my friend is a complete movie buff, so his father built him a small-sized movie theater on the second floor, with all the advanced equipment like screen, projector, stereos and stuff. He also has a game room where he could play pool, video games and board games. So you see, he has everything that a boy could dream of.
The most interesting thing about his home is that they have a room specially designed for their cats. It's just like a small playground filled with toys and recreational facilities for cats.
I feel that I could spend a whole day in his house without feeling bored.
