Lesson 13 Key Conversation Take a Chill Pill

Chantel: Seriously, can you believe that guy?

Jackson: Who are you talking about?

Chantel: Razz. I mean, he knows that we're overworked right now as it is, what with Christmas coming and all. I'm already at my wits' end trying to figure out the ads for the new line-up, and now he pulls this on us?

Jackson: What did he do this time?

Chantel: He went and booked a whole week off for himself during our busiest season. That means more work for the rest of us. I can't handle any more of his junk. I've got a lot on my plate as it is.

Jackson: OK, Chantel. Take a chill pill, all right? You have to stop letting things like that get to you so much. You know he's been under a lot of pressure, too, right?

Chantel: Oh, so now you're taking his side?

Jackson: No. I just think he's smart for taking a step back and removing himself from the situation. Maybe we should follow his example, you know? It might help clear our heads.
