give in (to)接受(原本反对的事情),服从……屈服,提交(hand in)
在经过一番劝说之后,接受原本反对的事情。如果是互相争吵的状况,就表示屈服或投降的意思。另外,give in 也可以像 hand in 一样表示“提交某物”。
