Rachel: I'm taking Friday off to go to the trade show downtown. Please call any clients that have booked and reschedule their appointments.
蕾切尔：周五我不在，要到市区参加展销会。请给已预约的客户打电话，重新安排会面时间。
Jake: Okay, I can do that. What's the point of a trade show?
杰克：好，我会办好的。参加展销会 有什么意义呢？
Rachel: I'm going to see what other people in the industry are doing and talking about. It's a great way to meet other people in the same profession and network.
蕾切尔：我会看到同行们都在做些什么，谈论些什么。这是结识同行及同一商圈的人们的一种很棒的方式。
Jake: Do you get anything cool when you go?
杰克：离开的时候会拿到什么好东西吗？
Rachel: A lot of times companies will give away samples of their products. Since this one is all about the beauty industry, I think I'll get to be pampered a little too!
蕾切尔：很多时候各公司会发放他们产品的一些样品。因为这一次都是跟美容业有关的，所以我也会狂拿一番！
Jake: Sounds fun.
杰克：听起来挺有趣啊。
Rachel: You should come. You'd learn a thing or two about working in this industry.
