前天法国的巴黎圣母院发生了一场大火，世界各地都对此感到深深的痛惜。今天的节目我们就要来聊聊和巴黎圣母院相关的英语。

01.Notre Dame Cathedral
巴黎圣母院的名字来源于法语：
Notre-Dame de Paris
It means "Our Lady of Paris", often referred to simply as Notre-Dame, is a medieval Catholic cathedral.
巴黎圣母院其实是一个大教堂，而教堂在英语里有很多不同的说法，最常见的有下面两种：
Cathedral: 天主教堂
Church: 教堂
“Cathedral”的规模一般比较大，指的是天主教教堂；而“Church”指的是一般性的教堂建筑。所以我们可以说“all the cathedrals are churches, but not all churches are cathedrals"。

Christianity /ˌkrɪstʃiˈænɪti/:基督教
巴黎圣母院着火了，我们可以说：
