Coco: Hey mom, I’m going to seriously start learning Spanish. What kind of classes should I take?

Melanie: That’s amazing Coco! I don’t know much about what’s out there in terms of language classes. I assume there are group classes and individual classes?

Coco: Yeah, so in group classes I will be learning together with people on my level. There will be group activities and conversation practices with each other. And in individual classes, I have the teacher’s full attention and the class goes at my pace. But of course, it’ll be more expensive.

Melanie: I can’t make the pick for you. But it sounds to me that individual classes are better cuz the study plan is designed based on your needs. How much more expensive is the individual class?

Coco: I haven’t done a thorough research. But this language school that I am checking right now, their group class is 90 minutes and $40 per person per class, and the individual class is 60 minutes and $60 per person.

Melanie: What? That is outrageous. I definitely have seen flyers of language schools that are half the price. Why don’t you look for more?
