Shi Hang, a famous TV and film screenwriter in China, whose work includes a well-known period drama, has been accused by five women of “repulsive” acts that constituted sexual harassment. The women argued that they were intimidated by his status.

Shi has denied all accusations against him and posted screenshots of his conversations with his alleged victims to suggest they were flirting with him and that their sexual encounters were consensual.
