Male: How long does that have to be?
Female: Oh, about 25 minutes usually?
Male: I have to talk for 25 minutes?
Female: Yes, that's right. And then you have to write your piece of work and give it to the lecture to be marked.
Male: Right. And is that all?
Female: No. You also have to complete a 3,000 words' essay on a topic.
Male: Can I choose the topic?
Female: Yes, usually you can.
Male: Right. That shouldn't be too bad.
Female: And in addition to that there is an exam.
Male: An exam! What sort of exam.
Female: Well, it's an open book exam.
Male: Does that mean I can have the text book with me during the exam?
Female: Yes, that's right.
