An obstetrician-gynecologist in Fuping county, Shaanxi province, was given a two-year suspended death sentence at Weinan Intermediate People's Court on Tuesday after being found guilty of child trafficking.
渭南中级人民法院本周二宣判，陕西省富平县妇产科医生拐卖儿童罪名成立，并判处死刑，缓期两年执行。
【讲解】
“死刑缓期两年执行”可用a two-year suspended death sentence或者sentence someone to death with a two-year reprieve表示。“死刑立即执行”则是a death sentence with immediate execution，有时简称immediate execution。
