1. look in on sb/somewhere
:顺便看望......,顺道访问......
讲解:look in是“顺便看望,顺道访问”的意思,不是指“事先带有特殊目的去看望和访问某人”。表示顺便看望或访问具体的人,后面用介词on. 柯林斯词典解释道:If you look in on a person or place, you visit them for a short time, usually when you are on your way somewhere else.
