记者从海淀检方获悉，2015年1月下旬，6名教育培训行业的从业人员，被海淀检察院以非法获取公民个人信息罪公诉至法院。据悉，该案涉及200余万条个人信息，每条信息包含学生所在学校、年级、学生及家长姓名等内容。

The personal data of two million students and their parents has been leaked and sold for targeted marketing by tutoring and training agencies in Beijing, The Mirror reported on Thursday.
据《镜报》周四报道，北京200万学生和家长的个人资料被泄露，并进行有针对性的营销通过辅导和培训机构在北京出售。

personal data就个人资料；tutoring and training agencies是辅导和培训机构。
这些信息涉及到（pertain to）学校和年级（grades），包括学生和家长的姓名和联系方式（contact details）。通过分类网站（classified sites），如ganji.com和58.com上被出售给培训学校（be sold on to training schools），数据被用来发送关于培训和招聘（training and recruitment）信息。
2015年1月下旬，6名教育培训行业的从业人员，被海淀检察院以非法获取公民个人信息罪（illegally obtaining and selling individual personal information）公诉至法院。
一名被告（defendant）声称入学率（enrollment rate）在他的培训机构（training agency）直接发送消息到目标群体（send direct messages to a targeted group）后上涨了25％。
北京海淀检察院表示，任何人谁非法获取，出售或提供个人资料（illegally obtains, sells or offers personal data）给其他人将被罚款或被判长达三年的入狱（sentenced to up to three years in prison）。
该案发生的直接原因（direct reason），是当前家长普遍重视子女教育（attach great importance to their children's education），家教行业（tutoring industry）市场潜力巨大。
