2. dress down：叱责

e.g. The boss will definitely dress down the person who messed up this report.

老板一定会训斥那个把这份报告搞砸的人。

e.g. Mom and Dad dressed me down when I came in after curfew yet again.

3. used to：过去常常

He used to have a cup of coffee preparatory to his work.
