关于复出，小卡本人如是说：我不能说已经百分百恢复了，就是现在能上场，并赢了场球，我在场上能完成一些投篮。
"I don't feel like I'm there yet,But I tried to do what I can. It's really nothing tonight. Just the whole process of going through playing limited minutes, and just seeing how I feel each game. It just felt good going out. I was trying to stay ready just in case he was going to call me."
感觉还是没有完全恢复，但是我尽量尝试做我能做到的事情，今晚没有什么特别，就是尽量打完限制的时间，看看我每一场球的感觉是不是会更好，能上场感觉很好。我一直在做好准备，在当组织需要我的时候，我已经做好了准备。
"Tonight was definitely a big step forward in his progression,Being able to play 26 minutes as good as he played tonight, I think is a huge deal for us. We just want him to continue to be on that line and continue to work as he has been doing, and hopefully continue to make steps forward."

Popovich joked before the game that "I have no clue" of how to handle a full roster of healthy players, adding "that's what I've got assistant coaches for."
