The United Kingdom and France signed an agreement on Monday to tackle the issue of migrants trying to enter the country by crossing the English Channel in small boats.
11月14日，英法两国签署协议，合力解决非法移民乘坐小船穿越英吉利海峡入境英国的问题。
The agreement includes the British government paying France 72.2m euros ($74.5m) toward the cost of patrolling French beaches during 2022 and 2023.

So far this year, more than 40,000 people have crossed the Channel to enter the UK illegally, up from 28,526 in all of 2021.
