China has made new strides in advancing afforestation in 2022, with the area of newly planted forests totaling 3.83 million hectares, according to a report from the National Greening Commission on Sunday. The country's forest coverage rate rose to 24.02 percent in 2022, according to the report.
全国绿化委员会办公室3月12日发布的一份公报显示，我国科学绿化持续深入推进，2022年全国完成造林383万公顷。目前，我国森林覆盖率达24.02%。
