The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and three other Chinese authorities have issued a joint action plan on December 17, 2024 to upgrade raw materials industry by raising the industry's standards over the next three years. China aims to move the sector toward a higher-end supply, improve its structure, expand its green development, increase its digitalization, and create a safer industry system.
2024年12月17日，工业和信息化部等四部门联合发布了《标准提升引领原材料工业优化升级行动方案（2025—2027年）》，引领原材料工业供给高端化、结构合理化、发展绿色化、产业数字化、体系安全化发展。
It is necessary to foster strategic emerging industries including new energy, new materials, advanced manufacturing and electronic information, and nurture industries of the future, in a bid to create new productivity boosters and new growth impetus.
积极培育新能源、新材料、先进制造、电子信息等战略性新兴产业，积极培育未来产业，加快形成新质生产力，增强发展新动能。
