【重点讲解】
1. Mary Alice Voiceover:"To understand Maisy Gibbons, you first need to know how she spent her afternoons.Her mornings were spent running errands for her husband. Her evenings were spent washing dishes and helping with homework."
Errand: 差事, 差使，任务等，这里的run可以理解为执行，去完成 spend: 常用词,花时间做某事，或者是花钱，常用词组是spend some time (on)doing sth/spend money on sth
2. Mary Alice Voiceover:"But her afternoons, well, they were spent in the company of men."
Company不是公司的意思，而是陪同，陪伴
3. Maisy: "Anyway, a couple of months later, I started my little hobby...and the most wonderful thing happened. This woman's husband became one of my regulars."
Regular: 规则的，有秩序的，经常的，这里是常客的意思。没有想到居然会是REX，不过自仔细想想还是有可能的，记得BREE说过一句话“We haven't had sex for months, Rex. Most normal, red-blooded men would be climbing the walls by now."原来REX是到MAISY那里去发泄了，男人真的是先有性再有爱的么？呵呵，好象这个问题不适合在这里讨论。
4. Judge Sullivan: "Bring me the passport, and Mr. Solis can visit his mother. Until then, your client is denied bail and remanded. What's next?"
bail: 保证金，保证人，大家都知道在国外有保释，付了一定数量钱就可以带嫌疑犯走，但会受到警察的严格监视，而且不准出国，所以法官会叫嫌疑犯交出passport（护照）
denied bail: 就是拒绝保释的意思。
Remand: 送还, 还押
5. Lynette: "You better finish those brussel sprouts. And don't think I can't see them hidden under your macaroni."
brussel sprouts: 一种蔬菜吧，我在网上查了下，国内好象没有的。Lynette说吃这个可以长高，怪不得，外国人看上去比亚洲人高，饮食习惯不同吧。Don’t think I can’t…..双重否定表肯定，呵呵，写作文时要用，可以让文章有闪光点，以前上写作课，老师常说的一句话。
6. Susan: "Oh, no good. My publisher's got me under the gun for something. What about Friday?"
under the gun: 在严密监视之下，SUSAN的意思是她的出版商急着让她交稿，SUSAN是画儿童图书插画的，这应该都知道吧。
7. Lawyer: "Gabrielle, listen. Tanaka is still at large, and they're going to want Carlos to flip on him, so this is their way of playing hardball. Now, I'm guessing that they've not done yet."
at large: 未被捕，我觉得翻成逍遥法外更好些。
8. Gabrielle: "Say, um, could I store some odds and ends in your garage?"
odds and ends: 零碎的东西 odd解释很多有奇数的，单数的，临时的，还有奇怪的，不寻常的意思。
9. Susan: "What if I want to talk about the big crush I have on the plumber that lives across the street?"
have a crush on sb：爱上某人
