BURLESQUE beauty Dita Von Teese made a raunchy debut on the runway last night in a custom-made black lace piece from her Von Folliescollection at the L'Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival.
She may have left the crowd waiting almost an hour, but they were not disappointed when the buxom beauty sauntered sexily down the catwalk.
In a theatrical, playful, glamorous display of her latest collection for Target, Von Teese wowed the crowd - leaving to a standing ovation.
Despite the presence of more risque accessories such as whips, leather and suspenders, the collection was surprisingly pretty and feminine.
Black lace dominated, but it was offset by shades of blue and pink.
The show featured an incredible array of vintage and vintage-inspired accessories, more than half of which were from Von Teese's personal wardrobe and collection. Hats, veils, eye masks, gloves, lace and sequinned capelets topped off the lingerie looks.
Animpressive 25 models of various shapes, sizes and ethnicities strutted the catwalk to a pumping music mix compiled by Von Teese from some of her favourite big-band songs and original music from her burlesque shows.
