一.Suspect:v.怀疑, 猜想 n.嫌疑犯 adj.可疑的, 不可信的
【词义辨析】
doubt, suspect, distrust
这些动词均含“怀疑”之意。
doubt普通用词，多指因证据不足或仅凭证据还不能肯定而产生怀疑，多含否定意味。
suspect指猜疑、疑心，肯定意味较多。
distrust指疑惑、猜疑，不信任。
【例句用法】
He's a prime suspect in the murder case.
他是这次谋杀案的主要怀疑对象
They suspected an ambush.
他们怀疑有埋伏。
二.according to:prep.按照, 根据, 取决于
【词义辨析】
according as, according to
都是according+介词的固定搭配。
according to表示“根据”、“按照”；according to 是介词短语，其后接名词。
The thermometer rises or falls according to the high or low temperature．
寒暑表根据气温的高低而升降。
according as表示“视乎”，有depending及according to whether的意味。According as是连词词组，其后接从句。
They will be praised or blamed according as their work is good or bad．
给他们的赏罚将视乎他们工作的好坏来决定。
【例句用法】
The books in the library were distributed according to subjects.
图书馆里的藏书按科目分类。
According to our records, the books you have borrowed should now be returned to the library.
根据我们的记录，你借的书现在应该还给图书馆了。
三.be interested in:对 ... 感兴趣
ex.:Bob mentioned the class presidency to Ted as a trial balloon to see if Ted might be interested in running.
鲍勃向特德提到班主席职位以试探特德是否热衷于参加其竞选。
It occurs to me that he might be interested in the problem we had discussed.
我想起来了他也许对我们讨论过的那个问题感兴趣。
四.be good for:对 ... 有好处
ex.:Confessions may be good for the soul but they are bad for the reputation.
忏悔可能对灵魂有好处，但对声誉则有损无益。
Do it up. It'll be good for you.
把它喝完，它对你有益。
