【指点迷津】该句型用more than likely表示“可能性很大”的意思。例如：

An economic recession now seems more than likely.现在看来，经济衰退的可能性相当大。

I explained to Winnie that it was more than likely we would have to live on her small salary. 我对温妮说，我们很可能不得不靠她那微薄的收入维持生活。

此外，该句型实际上是个含有补语从句的复合句。Likely后面的从句是补充说明什么样的可能性，说明其内容。
