析：表示相距多远，apart应放在表示距离的词语之后。又如：Our birthdays are exactly a month apart.( 我们俩的生日刚好 相差一个月)。

误：How apart do you live?
正：How far apart do you live?
析：询问相隔多远时，要用 How far apart...?
■除了有几个拼写错误外，这篇文章写得挺好的。
误：The article is good apart for a few spelling mistakes.
正：The article is good apart from a few spelling mistakes.
析：表示“除...外”，用 apart from，不是 apart for。比较：except for(除...外)。
