The Busy Bees
忙碌的蜜蜂
"Buzz, buzz, buzz," sang the bees one summer morning.
“嗡嗡，嗡嗡，嗡嗡”，蜜蜂们在一个夏日早晨唱着。
They were very busy.
他们忙极了。
Some were making little rooms in the bee-hive for the baby bees.
有些蜜蜂正在蜂箱里为蜜蜂宝宝建造小房间。
Some were making other rooms for the honey.
有些蜜蜂则建造了其他房间储存蜂蜜。
Bees must work, work, work all summer long.
整个夏天，蜜蜂都必须不停地工作、工作、工作。
They must put away honey for the winter.
他们必须储存蜂蜜过冬。
"Buzz, buzz," sang Little Bee.
“嗡嗡，嗡嗡”，小蜜蜂唱着。
She did not have to work at home.
她不需要在家里做事。
So she went out to get some honey.
因此，她出去采一些蜜。
The sun was shining, and it was a good day to get honey.
今天阳光灿烂，是个采蜜的好日子。
Away she flew over the green fields to the hill.
她飞过绿油油的田野，来到了小山上。
Little Bee saw some blue flowers on the hill.
小蜜蜂在小山上看到了一些蓝色的花朵。
She flew down to the blue flowers and took some of their honey.
她飞到了蓝花上面，采了一些蜜。
How sweet it was!

Little Bee took all the honey she wanted and then flew away home.
小蜜蜂采到了所有她想要的蜜，然后她就飞回了家。
As soon as Little Bee was back in the bee-hive she began to dance.
小蜜蜂一回到蜂箱，就开始跳舞。
Up and down, around and around, faster and faster she went.
她忽上忽下，并转起了圈，而且越跳越快。
The bees in the bee-hive saw her and came to dance with her.
蜂箱里的蜜蜂看见了，便过来和她一起跳。
Up and down, around and around, they went with Little Bee.
他们随着小蜜蜂忽上忽下，转着圈。
They could smell the sweet honey that she had found on the hill.
他们能够闻出她在小山上找到的香甜的蜜。
They could tell that this honey came from the blue flowers.
他们能够分辨出这种蜜是从那些蓝花里采来的。
All the bees wanted to get more honey from the blue flowers.
所有的蜜蜂都想从蓝花里采到更多的蜜。
But some of the bees could not go out of the bee-hive.
但是其中有些蜜蜂是不能离开蜂箱的。
Some had to stay at home and make more rooms for the honey.
这些蜜蜂有的必须待在家里，给蜂蜜建造更多的房间。
Some took care of the baby bees.
有的则要照看蜜蜂宝宝。
Other bees went out to get honey.
其他的蜜蜂外出采蜜。
First they had to find the place where the little blue flowers grew.
首先，他们必须找到小蓝花生长的地方。
Some bees flew to a garden, but the blue flowers were not there.
有些蜜蜂飞到了一个花园里，但是那儿没有蓝花。
Some flew far away to the woods and fields.
有些蜜蜂飞到了远处的森林和田野里。
But the flowers were not there.
但是那儿没有那样的花朵。
Then they all flew to the hill. There they found the blue flowers with the nice, sweet honey.
然后，他们都飞到了小山上，他们在那里发现了那种有着香甜的、上好花蜜的蓝花。
"Buzz, buzz," sang the bees as they went from flower to flower.
“嗡嗡，嗡嗡”，蜜蜂们一边唱着，一边从一朵花飞到另一朵花。
They took the nice, sweet honey from the little blue flowers.
他们从小蓝花里采到了香甜的上好花蜜。
Then the bees flew home.
然后，蜜蜂们都飞回了家。
They gave some of their honey to the other bees.
他们把一些蜜分给了其他的蜜蜂。
They put some honey away in the new rooms.
他们把一些蜜储存在新的房间里。
Day after day the bees went out to the hill.
此后，蜜蜂们日复一日地去小山上采蜜。
At last the bee-hive was full of honey, and the bees were ready for winter.
最后，蜂箱里装满了花蜜，蜜蜂们做好了过冬的准备。
Early one morning the farmer came to the bee-hive.
一天清晨，农民来到了蜂箱前。
"This bee-hive has more honey than the others," he said.
“这个蜂箱的蜜比其他的都要多”，他说。
"I think it is the best honey, too.
“我想这也是最好的蜂蜜了。
The bees have more than they can eat this winter.
今年冬天，蜜蜂们吃不完这么多蜂蜜。
I will take some of it for Tom and Anne."
我取一些给汤姆和安妮。”
So the farmer took some honey.
于是，这个农民取走了一些蜂蜜。
That morning Tom and Anne had bread and honey for breakfast.
