How Buzzy Saved the Beehive
巴兹蜂巢拯救记
This story tells you about a wise little bee, named Buzzy.
这则故事讲述了一个名叫巴兹的聪明的小蜜蜂。
Some very strange things happened in the beehive where Buzzy lived.
她所住的蜂巢里发生了一些奇怪的事情。
Mother and Bob and Nancy were in the yard watching the honey bees.
妈妈带着鲍勃和南希在院子里看蜜蜂。
"Tell us a story about bees, Mother," begged the children.
妈妈，给我们讲一个关于蜜蜂的故事吧，孩子们请求道。
Mother smiled and said, "I have never told you about a bee named Buzzy, have I?
妈妈笑了笑说道，我没有给你们讲过一个名叫巴兹的蜜蜂的故事，是吗？
Well, here is the story.
好吧，故事是这样的。
"In every beehive there are three kinds of bees — the queen, the workers, and the drones.
在每个蜂巢里面都有三种蜜蜂：蜂后、工蜂和雄蜂。
The queen bee lays all the eggs.
蜂后产卵。
The workers bring the juices from flowers to make the honey.
工蜂收集花朵的汁液酿蜜。
And the drones, who are the lazy bees, do almost nothing but eat and sleep.
而雄蜂呢？它们是比较懒的蜜蜂，除了吃饭和睡觉之外，几乎什么都不做。
"In each beehive there is only one queen, but sometimes a new queen is hatched while the old one is still living.
每个蜂巢里只有一个蜂后，有的时候一个新的蜂后孵化出来了，但老的蜂后还活着。
"Now the old queen is afraid that the bees new queen better than they like will like the her.
这个时候，老蜂后害怕蜜蜂们对新蜂后的喜欢会超过她，
So almost always she goes away to make a new home.
所以她往往会选择出走，再建造一个新家。
Many of the bees go with her. If too many bees leave at this time, there are not enough left to do the work in the old hive.
当然，许多蜜蜂都会跟随她。如果许多蜜蜂都和她一起离开了，那么就没有足够的蜜蜂留下来在老的蜂巢里劳作。
