Wondering what her godmother would do, Cinderella brought the trap to the fairy.

Then the godmother opened the door of the trap, and as each little mouse ran out, she gave it a tap with her magic wand.

At the touch, every mouse was turned into a beautiful horse.

Wonderful! cried Cinderella joyfully, "but, godmother, we have no coachman.

I will see if there is not a rat in the rat-trap. You might make a coachman of him."

Yes, said the godmother. "Bring the trap to me."

So Cinderella brought the rat-trap to her, and in it were three large rats.
于是灰姑娘把捕鼠器拿给了她，里面还有三只大老鼠。
With her wand the fairy touched the rat that had the longest beard.
仙女用魔棒点了点胡子最长的老鼠。
At once he was turned into a fat coachman.
他立刻变成了一位胖胖马夫。
Then the fairy godmother said, "Go into the garden, and you will find six lizards behind the watering pot; bring them to me."
接着仙女教母说道：“去花园，你会在洒水壶的后面找到六只蜥蜴，把它们拿来给我。
The happy girl had no sooner brought the lizards than her godmother turned them into six footmen.
这个高兴的小姑娘刚把蜥蜴拿来，仙女就把他们变成了六个脚夫。
They jumped upon the back of the coach and held on as if they had done nothing else all their lives.
