We can use different forms to talk about future time in English, for example, will, going to and shall.
will + base verb:
To make a prediction based on personal opinion 根据自己的想法来做出推测
I think you'll love this film. 我觉得你会喜欢这部电影的。
She's convinced that the team won't win the cup. 她确定球队不会夺冠。
Note: In spoken English will is usually shortened to 'll
To express a decision made at the moment of speaking 表达在说话时做出的决定
You go with Michal and I'll iron the shirts. 你和Michal一起走,我留下来熨衬衫。
To express future facts 表达未来事实
The class will finish at 7:30 tonight. 今晚7点半下课。
In formal written style to express future events (often planned in detail)
This clinic will be closed on Bank Holiday Monday.
We are sorry there will be no deliveries of mail during next week's postal strike.
be + going to + base verb:
To make a prediction based on present evidence 根据掌握的事实做出推测
Look at those dark clouds, it's going to rain. 看这些乌云,马上就要下雨了。
The traffic is terrible! We're going to be late. 堵车堵的太厉害了!我们就要迟到了。
To talk about plans already made 谈论已经做出的计划
I'm going to see a film tonight (I've already bought my ticket). 我今晚去看电影。
