公益项目“快乐音乐教室”为怀揣音乐的梦想的贫困孩子们提供平台,而且也在培养青年音乐才俊。
The art of performance is continuing to be passed down through generations. Two years have passed since the public service project "Happy Music Classroom" opened its doors to poverty-stricken kids with musical dreams.
How are the young musicians in the making getting on? Some students recently came to Beijing to perform in the Great Hall of the People.
The show is a burst of ethnic flavour, Chinese elements and percussion sounds—a chance for children to take their dreams to the stage. Since 2010, 125 music classrooms have been set up in 22 provinces and autonomous regions. Each classroom is fully equipped with musical instruments.
"Hope Project" aims to help children whose families are too poor to afford.
