The big winners of the 65th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards have been announced at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. AMC's "Breaking Bad" won the best drama series. It beat Netflix series "House of Cards," which was vying to be the first online-only show to take a major prize.
ABC's "Modern Family" won the best comedy series. Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series went to Jeff Daniels of "The Newsroom", while the Outstanding Lead Actress went to Claire Danes of "Homeland". Jim Parsons of "The Big Bang Theory" took the best comic actor award, while Julia Louis-Dreyfus won for best actress.
