In England we use this often for a friend who is looking for a job. If we see something which really suits their skills and interests we would often say for example: “Hey you love animals, this dog walking job is right up your street!”.
2、You’ve been a while
你去了很久啊,咋离开了这么久?
If your friend went to the shops to buy some food, but he got back quite late. I could say “you’ve been a while”, to express my feeling. And show my curiosity.
