And so our hope is, that the awareness about salt
We'll mean that as manufacturers lower sugar content in foods
that they don't as a side product raise the salt content
Because that would sort of defeat the overall health purpose
So the question was whether eating more--
问题是
the observation that when you eat sugary foods you want to eat more sugary foods
and whether there is something physiologic to that
And I think the people who study addiction at the level of the brain will say yes,
that these substances clearly have this type of property to them
They release the same types of substances that make us crave more
And I think recognizing that that's the case is really important for us to figure out how we can combat it
Because some of this is really saying to food manufacturers, stop the madness
We really can't have increasing amounts of all of these things in our food supply
And some of it is making different choices in what we eat
It's to say I'm gonna choose something that's slightly lower
or I'm gonna choose to forgo this
Because if I eat one, it's likely to lead to several other things
And so really understanding the physiology of our taste receptors
the physiology of our brain in terms of the addicting qualities of certain substances in food,
I think is really crucial
And again for me, it's the reason why in the face of lots of information about sugar
I think we can't forget salt, because those things again are linked as well
And so I think you bring up a very important point
