马尔萨什洛克港
This picturesque fishing village is just a 30 minute bus ride from Valletta.

Taking the bus is perhaps the best way to get there,

particularly since it's notoriously difficult to park in Marsaxlokk, especially near the waterfront.

The village is very walkable, and with its colorful daily marketplace,

Mdina is an ancient walled city inhabited and possibly first fortified by the Phoenicians around 700 BC.

Higher fortifications were added by Malta's Arab rulers and Norman rulers.
