Table tennis is also known as Ping Pong.
乒乓球（table tennis）又叫Ping Pong。
Table tennis can be played by two or four players.
参赛人数可以是两人或者四人。
In table tennis, the object is to be the first player to reach 11 points to win a set,

and then win the best of three, five or seven sets to ultimately win the game.
然后通过三局两胜、五局三胜或七局四胜的赛制，决出比赛的优胜。
Table tennis is played on a wide table, nine feet long and five feet wide, and it's two and a half feet above ground.
宽阔的乒乓球台，长度为9英尺（合2.74米），宽度为5英尺（合1.52米），高度为2.5英尺（合0.76米）。
The net is hung six inches above the table.

One, the toss of a coin determines which of the players serves first.
第一，掷硬币决定谁先发球。
Two, the serves must start with the ball in an open palm.
第二，发球前，球要置于张开的手掌上。
Three, the ball must be above and behind the table throughout the serve.
第三，在整个发球过程中，球必须在球台的上方和后方。
Four, after throwing the ball, the server must get their free arm in and out of the way.
第四，球一旦被抛起，发球员的不执拍手臂应立即从球和球网之间的区域移开。
Five, the ball must first bounce on your side and then over the net in your opponents.

Six, your opponent must allow the ball to hit their side of the table before trying to return to you.

Seven, if the ball hits the net and doesn't go over, the point goes to the other team slash player, there are no second serves.

Eight, after each game, the players must rotate both the end of the table from which they are playing as well as who serves and receives the ball first.
第八，每局比赛后，双方球员要交换场地，以及要改变接发球的顺序。
Nine, in the deciding game of a match, the players swap ends after either player reaches 5 points.
第九，在一场比赛的决胜局中，当某一方先得到5分后，双方要交换场地。
Scoring, when a player or pair first scores 11 points, they win the set.
得分方面，先得到11分的一方球员，则赢得了一局比赛的胜利。
If both players and pairs score 10 points, then the first player or pair to gain a two-point lead wins the set.
如果双方都得到了10分，那么率先取得2分优势的一方，将赢得这局比赛。
The winner is the player or pair who wins the best of three, five or seven sets.
整场比赛通常会采取三局两胜，五局三胜或七局四胜制。
A point is scored when ...
当出现以下情况为得分：
One, a player fails to make a legal serves.
第一，某方球员未能合法发球。
Two, a player fails to make a return.
第二，某方球员未能合法接球。
Three, the ball touches any part of the player's body.
第三，球员的任意身体部位碰到了球。
Four, a player strikes the ball twice in succession.
第四，某方球员连续击球两次。
Five, if players touch the table with their free hand or move the table.
第五，某方球员不执拍手触碰球台或移动球台。
Six, if a doubles opponent strikes the ball out of the sequence established by the first server and first receiver.
第六，双打比赛中，球员的击球次序出现错误。
What is "LET"?
什么是"LET"？
A "LET" or a situation requiring a replay.
"LET"指的是需要重发球的情况。
May include: if the ball hits the net during a serve before touching the opponent's court;
这可能包括：球在发球过程中触网，然后才碰到对方一侧的球台；
if an umpire interrupts the game; and the ball is served if one player is not ready.
或者是裁判员暂停比赛；以及球员未准备好时球就已经发出了。
