Question: What kind of animals did Robinson find on the other side of the island?

I also discovered some new animals on this side of the island. There were many parrots, rabbits and grey cats there.

在岛的这一侧我还发现了一些新动物。那里有很多鹦鹉、兔子和灰色的猫。

I even caught one parrot. I took the parrot with me. There were many colours on his body. I saw red, green, purple, orange, blue, pink and yellow.

我还抓住了一只鹦鹉。我把鹦鹉带走了。它身上有很多颜色。我看见红色、绿色、紫色、橙色、蓝色、粉色和黄色。

There were also a lot of turtles and other birds there. This part of the island was nicer. There was more food in this part. But I didn’t want to move.

My dog caught a young goat on the way back. I saved the goat. I took the goat with me. I wanted to keep goats. Now I had another chance.

I left the goat in my valley home. First I wanted to prepare some space for the goat in my first home.

我的狗在回去的路上抓到了一只山羊。我救了这只山羊。我把山羊带走了。我想养山羊。现在我又有一次机会了。我把山羊放在我位于山谷的家中。首先我想在我的第一个家里为它准备一些空间。

I was so tired from the trip that I was relaxing the whole day.

I made a cage for the parrot. I brought home the goat. The goat started to calm down.

Notes:

1. prepare：做准备，我们既可以说prepare sth.，也可以说prepare for sth.，注意下其中的区别，prepare sth.指的是“准备好某样东西”，如prepare a report“准备一份报告”，prepare for sth.指的是“为某事做好准备”，如prepare for an exam“为考试做准备”。

2. tired：累的，疲劳的，厌倦的，“对某事感到厌倦”我们可以说be tired of sth.。

3. calm down：平静下来，冷静下来。
