The Devil Wears Prada fans make same Anne Hathaway demand as sequel to 2006 film on the way

Andy Sachs is back … maybe. The long-awaited and recently rumored sequel to “The Devil Wears Prada” is finally getting the go-ahead, according to several published reports. And New Jersey’s Anne Hathaway is reportedly in talks to reprise her role as Andy Sachs, the aspiring journalist who navigated the cutthroat world of high fashion under the demanding Miranda Priestly.

Entertainment Weekly was the first to report Hathaway, Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci are in talks to reprise their roles from the 2006 hit.

Anne Hathaway has deep connections to New Jersey. The Brooklyn-born, Oscar-winning actress spent most of her childhood living in Millburn, New Jersey, where she attended high school. Rumors about a sequel have circulated for years, but Hathaway has been non-committal about it.
