Kenyan diplomat talks about China's foreign policy
In a recent interview with CRI, Mohammed Gello, former head of China affairs at Kenyan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, shared his view on Chinese President Hu Jintao's late January visit to Africa and China's foreign policy.
"The visit of president Hu Jintao to Africa clearly shows the fact that the president has kept his word from the November 2006 Beijing summit. We believe that the values that China has been putting in the diplomatic engagement with Africa reflect the right kind of polices. And you can clearly see that China's policy towards Africa is winning a lot of friends. For us, I think there is a very good sign that Sino-African relations will continue to grow stronger."
