The UN human rights chief has urged the Iraqi government and the US-led coalition to review tactics in the Mosul offensive to safeguard civilian lives.
One UN report claims that at least 307 civilians have been killed and 273 wounded between February and March in western Mosul, after ISIL militants herded people into booby-trapped buildings or used them as human shields.
The UN also called on Iraqi and coalition forces to conduct transparent investigations into deadly incidents.
