This year's summit will be G20’s 13th under the theme “Building Consensus for Fair and Sustainable Development”. It's the first time the meeting is being held in South America. The leaders will be focusing on three points in particular. The first "The future of work” or unleashing people's potential. They're hoping to create more and better-quality jobs to ensure that everyone gets the chance to realize their potential and benefit from their new technological era. The second is “Infrastructure for development” which is mainly about mobilizing private resources to reduce the infrastructure deficit. Food security is an important link in a process to achieve peace and stability which leads to the third “A sustainable food future”. This one looks at improving soil productivity through sustainable means. It emphasizes that as a limited and non-renewable resource the preservation of soil is crucial for sustainable development and life on our planet.
