President Donald Trump has cancelled his delegation’s trip to this year's World Economic Forum in Davos due to the partial government shutdown. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo was expected to lead the delegation. They were also expected to host a dinner of the group of seven foreign and finance ministers. Trump also postponed House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi's overseas trip as a result of government shutdown. This all came after Pelosi urged Donald Trump to reschedule his State of the Union address scheduled to happen on January the 29th. The impasse between the two parties is over a border war with Mexico has forced the government to shut since December the 22nd. Now it's the longest a government shutdown in US history.
