Now to the Chinese investigation into former Canadian diplomat Michael Kovrig. He is being in detention since December accused of engaging in activities that endangered China's national security. And a source now said that Kovrig was stealing and collecting state secrets after he entered China on an ordinary passport in business visa in 2017. They say another detained Canadian citizen Michael Spavor who was running a business in China was his key contact. And Chinese authorities say they will handle the case according to law and will guarantee the two Canadians legitimate rights including granting consular access.
