Thirty people had reportedly being killed by a large forest fire in southwestern China. As of Monday local time all the bodies have been retrieved including 27 forest fire commanders and three firefighters. But two military choppers carrying 15 rescuers have been sent to the mountainous area in Muli County near the Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture in Sichuan. Nearly 700 firefighters have been deployed to find the blaze since it started on Saturday as soon as the fire broke out. Chinese President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Keqiang wasted no time in giving their instructions to the local government in emergency response the teams. But the difficult landscape together with the erratic winds have slowed down the operation.
