China has been building a brand new city near Beijing to take over the so-called non capital functions the capital city bears. The place is called Xiong’an with the initial role of decluttering Beijing. But the country has bigger plans for the new city. It now wants to make it a showroom of China's development and the well-connected financial in an attractive tech hub for talent. That's why for starters China's pouring money into infrastructure building an intercity bullet train line connecting Beijing-Xiong’an in the capital city's future new airport in southern Beijing. By 2022 the city of Xiong’an will take shape. 26 high-tech companies have set up shop in Xiong’an since the beginning of this year, hoping to capitalize on favorable policies. Going forward the government will allocate high-quality education and medical resources to make sure the talent will settle down in the new city in his building.
